LKG SYLLABUS ENGLISH

I have also attached the PDF at the end of this post. The month-wise syllabus helps you to plan and schedule your teaching. It gives you a clear explanation of What/When/How to introduce the reading and writing.

The basic 3 steps to introduce the writing are prewriting activities, tracing, and letter writing. You have to strengthen the hand muscles prior to the introduction of writing. Coloring and clay modeling strengthen the hand muscles. There are various simple activities that help to develop the hand muscles.  I will come up with fine motor skills in my next post.

The kindergarten children always love the play-way learning. So, when you want to homeschool your kid then start with the fun coloring and painting activity. When you want to teach a letter or pattern to identify and write then you need to introduce them in a play-way method.

For eg, Write the letter on a tray of sand and tell the child to trace on it. You can write the letter on white paper and ask the kid to trace it using crayons or dodge markers or colored pencils. It is good to do these activities before you introduce writing in the notebook.

If you are homeschooling, then prepare a schedule of daily teaching. It is good to follow a proper regular time to teach the kids. The child will get adapt to it gradually. So, the child can understand that when the time is10, it is time to learn.
